Introduction To PHP Web Development Tutorials:
We are going to start a pure , quality and original PHP Web Development Tutorials Series. I welcome all learners. I hope that it will really be helpful to you in developing websites. As PHP is a powerful Server language and because of this, PHP use is increased in web development , I will try my best to explore it for learners. As I am not an Expert in this field , so I apologise in advance for my mistakes.

What is PHP ?
PHP is a web development language. The original abbreviation for PHP is "Personal Home Page" but with the notes of the community it is now change to PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor". PHP is used to make dynamic websites. The difference between static webpages and dynamic webpages is that the content and structure of dynamic webpages keeps on changing on runtime because of backend programming . While the content and structure of static webpages does not change unless a web designer make changes in the web page. You can use PHP to handle all databases. It supports all databases like MYSQL, ORACLE, SQLITE, etc. PHP can help us to make Content Mangement Systems (CMS), Image Galleries, Forums, E-commerce sites etc in very less time.
What is MYSQL ?
MYSQL is a very fast RDBMS (Relational Database Management System). MYSQL is totally free for all usage. It provides the facility to store any data safely , retrieve data easily and process data easilt. MYSQL also allows several users to control data and along with this make the data secure by restricting data acces to authorized Users only.
MYSQL is a multiuser , multithreadeed database server which works on SQL(Structured Query Language). SQL is a standard language for all databases. MYSQL is a free source available . It has now became the worlds most popular open source database which has won Linux Journal Readers Choise Award many times.
Why to use PHP and MYSQL ?
Let us suppose if we are making an E-commerce Website with E-commerce Data then we will use following different products.

Out of the above listed things , some depend on other like every operating system does not support every hardware. Not all scripts provide connectivity to all databases etc. The Good quality of PHP is is that PHP works on Apache, Linux, PWS , IIS, Windows operating systems without the concern of hardware systems

Built-In Libraries :
Since php has been made for web therefore there are many great features and functions in it. You can generate images easily. you can get web and network services. XML can be parsed and mail can be sent and PDF file can be generated because o f these built in libraries.

PHP is absolutely free and you can download PHP.net free at any time
Easy To Learn And Use:
Syntax of php resembles with many other languages like c++ , java, pearl etc. If you have worked on any of these languages then it will not be difficult for you to learn php and master it.

There is a complete object oriented feature in php5. if you have worked in c++ and java, then you will be familiar with inheritance, private/protected attributes abstract methods and classes, interface, constructors, distructors etc etc. These all are available in PHP.
